Well a week has passed since the pasting of our friend. We learned that he was way over than we thought-78 years old. He worked, taught, danced and lived. He survived the dark period of Europe, became an officer in the young Israeli country, became an expert in his field, raised a family and was a very special human.
I think of his passing and the improvements of my arm - you know you got to put things in perspective - my arm will get better, our friend won't come back.
I still highly believe - what we do in this life time will impact how we will be remembered - be brave, do good, be a proper caring human being.
Do we think of life and the meaning of it? How often do we say thank you for what we have? I have been home for 4.5 weeks. Yes, I am going crazy, but am thankful for the level of damage when I tripped. It could have been worst and I am grateful for what I have.
This morning the mother of a dear friend passed away. The mother was old, ill with alzheimer's, bed sores, and just in areally bad state. Her passing was a blessing no matter how sad. I couldn't make the funeral due to my arm but my wife went. This evening our friend calls to say that a mutual friend passed away this morning from a heart attack. My wife saw him last night at our dance class, dancing and being happy. One moment here and the next the flame has been blown out.
So fragile we are - here one minute and a memory the next. The two cases make me think of my parents' passing. It doesn't take much to change our status in this world.
Life is important and what we have is what we have - with this we have to do our best to achieve the most and to be the best we can (not so in acheivements but more in being a good human being).
Live life to the fullest - Love those that love you and more - Remember your actions are things that peoplw will remember and that you want them to be good memories.

We often miss the small things in life as we rush through the day doing whatever we need to do to survive in this hectic world.
